I am the sum of the following characteristics rolled into one fun-loving and creatively supercharged writer.
An Egyptian Goofball: Though I hail from the land of Pharaohs, I like to think of myself less as a descendant of Tutankhamen and more of a Looney Tunes character come to life, possessing similarly manic and hyperactive energy.
An Advertising Aficionado: I was raised on advertising... Jingles were my nursery rhymes, slogans were my mantras, and cereal mascots were my childhood heroes. The more I grew up, the more I became an advertising savant; evidenced by the fact that I left my home country and devoted a fortune to study at Miami Ad School.
A Movie Guru: I’m the human equivalent of IMDb; my brain is a comprehensive movie encyclopedia and trivia bank. My cinephilia knows no limits. You name it, chances are I’ve seen it.
A Geek/Pop Culture Enthusiast: Maybe I’m too old to play video games, watch cartoons or read comic books, but I still do and I find no shame in that. I’m a proud owner of vintage action figures, old video game consoles, and a DVD collection spanning over 300 titles.
A Part-Time Actor: I’ve been bitten by the acting bug during my university years, and have done theatre, short films, TV soap operas, and commercials back in my home country. I have also been the official voice of multiple Disney characters in the Middle East (primarily Mickey Mouse and Stitch). Don’t believe me? Visit my actor page.
A Jim Carrey doppelgänger: Ask me for my Jim Carrey impressions. I’ve been known to knock them out of the park. People often had mistaken me for his long-lost, olive-skinned, and shorter brother.
And a kickass copywriter, if I do say so myself. See the work for reference!
